Civic Works Tiny House

The Civic Works Tiny House was designed to demonstrate sustainable design principles and technologies. The house was purchased by the city’s office of sustainability as an educational tool for city residents and school children. The house is built with locally sources renewable materials and its envelope is super-insulated. The house has dual power distribution in 110V AC and 12V DC with solar panels and battery backup. The house is designed to work on grid and off grid.
