Cherry Hill Town Center

Working with Catholic Charities, the project transforms an existing shopping center to be a vibrant community hub with facade improvements and a new multi-use community space.

The facade improvements updates the exterior to be simple, cost-effective and timeless. The changes transform the appearance of the Town Center to be more welcoming and attractive while also remaining secure and durable.

Inside one of the vacant retail spaces is a new “Marketplace” - a venue accommodating programmed social activities and space for small business startups. The space is at once a community living room and a meeting space for events or informal gatherings. It is also a place for businesses to set up, promote and test new ideas. Meanwhile a commercial kitchen gives opportunity for catering and food service businesses to start up as well as host cooking classes for community members. At the storefront is a retail cafe that can operate independently of the meeting spaces beyond.
